MY STORY
I couldn't wait to be a mom.
As soon as I got the job, the husband, the house, (even the dog), I knew I was ready.Ā
But I had no idea what that would all entail. Getting pregnant. Hoping my pregnancy would be successful. Wondering if I wanted an epidural? Would I want my whole family present at birth? What do I need to pack to take with me to the hospital?
So many questions came to mind and I knew that I had a choice. I could either let the fear and worry run me and my pregnancy, or I could learn more, embrace the unknown, and breathe through it.Ā
I invested in myself to learn yoga as a way to manage my emotions, my changing body, and bond with my baby within. I learned more about the pelvic floor and why it was so important to address during pregnancy and after.Ā
The more I learned, the more I wanted to share with others. That your journey through pregnancy can be beautiful and intimate. That you can advocate for yourself, educate yourself, and learn specific strategies to be present. So that the best day of your life, bringing your baby into this world, can be remembered and cherished.Ā
